Gordy is a California "boy" from Ocean Beach/Point Loma in San Diego.
His
parents, siblings and other relatives & friends introduced him to myriad music styles, which shows
in his writing and confounds efforts to fit him into a single radio
format.
He has been a singer in church, a six-piece band in
Germany, musical theater, opera, a U.S. Army Soldier's Chorus, a
barbershop quartet, demo recordings for other writers, and here, there
and everywhere with only his guitar to accompany him.
He also produces audio recordings and consults regarding the music business in general and Nashville in particular.
